Career opportunities with GMP skills
If you are looking for your next move, GMP is one of the fastest routes into one of the most stable industries in Denmark. Good Manufacturing Practice is the set of rules all medicinal production follows, and the requirement appears in almost every job advert at pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies. If you can show that you understand quality, traceability and documentation, your application moves up the pile. Typical roles are production operator, including in sterile production, laboratory technician and analyst in quality control, QA working with deviations, changes and batch documentation, warehouse, logistics and supply chain, and technical support, maintenance and validation. Many start as an operator and move on to superuser, team lead or specialist in the quality department.
Who is the GMP course for?
The course is for you if you want to find work in the life science industry, take a central role in how GMP is implemented and maintained, and understand how the mindset of the people on the floor protects the quality of medicine. You get a thorough walkthrough of the requirements for aseptic production, an overview of the authority requirements, and the guidelines for developing, validating, operating and maintaining IT systems. The course is listed on the regional positive list, which makes it easier for jobcentres to approve and fund it.

Build GMP knowledge in only six weeks with this GMP course
Do you want a career in the pharmaceutical industry? A GMP course can be the key. Even without previous experience, six weeks is enough to understand how production and packaging facilities are run in line with the current rules and authority requirements, including the correct handling of raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
The teaching is built around cases drawn from everyday operations in a pharmaceutical or food company. You learn about good manufacturing practice, quality assurance, risk assessment and the handling of materials under the current rules. It also covers GMP regulated production environments, which is what you need in order to understand the requirements for clothing, aseptic gowning, equipment operation, quality control and the production of sterile medicine.
GMP courses are approved on the regional positive list
The course is approved on the regional positive list for six week courses for unemployed, and you can apply for it through your jobcentre. If you are unsure about the application process or anything else, you can sign up without obligation. We will contact you and answer your questions.

What is GMP, and why does it open doors
Good Manufacturing Practice is the international set of rules for how medicine is produced, documented and released. It covers everything from the cleanliness of a room and the clothing worn in it, to how a deviation is written down and who is allowed to approve a batch. Every company that makes or handles medicine in Denmark works under these rules, and every inspection checks them.
Why employers ask for it
A company cannot teach a new employee the whole framework on the job. It needs people who already understand why the rules exist and what happens when they are not followed. That is why GMP appears in almost every job advert in the industry, and why candidates who can document the knowledge are read first.
What six weeks gives you
You go through the principles, quality assurance, documentation and traceability, behaviour and hygiene in classified areas, and the requirements for sterile production. You also get an introduction to qualification and validation, and to the rules for the IT systems that hold the records. Each participant receives a course certificate for their own documentation.
How it is funded
The course is on the regional positive list for six week courses for unemployed. That means your jobcentre can approve and fund it. If you are unsure how to apply, sign up without obligation and we will take you through it.
